OVERVIEW

The Stable is a single storey barn conversion which used to be the old stable and cattle shed at Courthouse Farm. It has preserved original beams and the old windows and doors have been replaced by stained wooden doors and windows with double glazing. Outside, there is a raised patio with garden furniture and a barbecue. The garden has a fenced lawn and stoned area for parking for 2 cars.

Absolutely beautiful cottage and location. Everything you needed was supplied. Only 100 yards to the local pub and 10 minutes in the car to the nearest supermarket. All very clean. We loved it here and waking up to the sound of sheep. The views are amazing as well. Highly recommend

Garden and Patio

The garden has a private stoned patio and lawn which is fenced and safe for children, also a stoned area at the front of the house. There are garden chairs, table and a barbecue.

Pet Friendly

One well behaved dog is welcome by prior arrangement. They must not be left in the house alone and are not allowed on the furniture and beds. We charge £20 per pet per stay.

OTHER INFORMATION

Duvet, pillows and blankets are provided per person. Bed linen is included and beds will be made prior to your arrival. Towels are not provided but can be hired on request in advance. Smoke alarms, fire blanket and extinguishers fitted. Spark guards and fire tools are provided. Logs for the wood burner are included in the tariff between October and April. Friday Changeovers. A 25% deposit is payable at the time of booking. The balance payable 4 weeks before the holiday start date.

DIRECTIONS

Best Directions to The Stable – from the A35 at the end of Morcombelake take the turning to Whitchurch Canonicorum near Artwave Gallery. Follow this road till a cross road in village. Here turn right past the Village Hall, once the School. Drive through the village past the Church and memorial statue, follow the road until you come to a large wide corner on your left. Here you will find Wakely’s farm. The Stable is through the gate straight to the left of you. The parking area is beside the property. (If you are using Sat Nav please put in Whitchurch Canonicorum via the A35 then put in Wakely’s farm).
